    WiFi and Ethernet model
    This version provides two ways of data synchronisation: 2.4GHz WiFi and Ethernet cable. When used in an environment where WiFi is not available or unstable, the Ethernet cable is the solution. This model is embedded with internal temperature and humidity sensors. Integrated with RS485 interface, external probes can also be connected, such as TH30S-B, soil temperature and humidity probe,etc. Because of the cable port, this version is not waterproof.

    GS1-AETH1RS-1DS has the same features as UBIBOT GS1-AETH1RS. Besides RS485 probes, it can also support 1 x DS18B20-Audio Temperature Probe, and only one of each type of probe can be connected at a time; Wind Speed Sensor is incompatible with DS18B20-Audio Temperature Probe.

    The UbiBot® GS1 uses cutting-edge IoT technologies to offer a more stable environmental monitoring with high performance. Via WiFi or RJ45 Ethernet cable, it detects environmental data all day round and automatically syncs all the data to the UbiBot® IoT Platform. The clear 4’’ screen allows you to instantly view the latest data. You can also access your device readings in real-time via our App or using a browser anywhere in the world. The embedded RS485 interface ensures your use of external probe in the most extreme conditions.

    Data Reporting and Logging
    Our cloud-based IoT platform offers advanced data analysis and management. It also allows you to setup real-time notifications - if a metric goes outside the range you specify, the platform will notify you through the app, by email, SMS text, voice call and HTTP, allowing you to respond promptly before costly damage happens. Please note, charges may apply to SMS text and voice call alert modes. These two modes cost the balance of the credits in your account. The IoT platform gives users access to both the real-time data and history via our mobile app or on any browser. We are now working with IFTTT (if this then that), allowing you to build custom link with other smart devices.
    No subscription is needed. The free 200MB Cloud Storage is enough to store data over 2 years on default settings. Export the data to CSV or PDF without extra charge.

    Internal Memory
    The device can store up to 300,000 records in its internal memory, which can protect your data against network failure. Even if the network fails, the UbiBot GS1® still stores readings, thus ensuring there are no gaps in the data history.

    Power

    The device supports three types of power supply: (2900 mAh) internal lithium batteries, Type-C 5V (USB cable provided), and DC 12V (not included).

    External Probe Selection
    The UbiBot® GS1-AETH1RS supports multiple types of external probes, like the TH30S-B temperature and humidity probe.
    GS1-External probe selection
    NOTE:

    - GS1-AETH1RS only supports Ethernet switch with 100 Mbps or lower. Gigabit switching hub with auto-negotiation is also compatible.

    - It supports multiple RS485 external probes, but only one of each type can be connected at a time. GS1-AETH1RS-1DS also supports 1 x DS18B20-Audio Temperature Probe, while Wind Speed Sensor is incompatible with DS18B20-Audio Temperature Probe

    - Due to the RJ45 cable port, this version is not waterproof. The optimal operational environment is 10% to 90% RH. Long-term exposure to a high-humidity environment, over 90% RH, may cause damage to the device.

    - For WiFi connection, GS1-AETH1RS can only work with a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. 5 GHz WiFi is not supported.

    - As the Ethernet connection consumes a lot of power, we recommend you connect the external power supply all the time to ensure a constant performance.
