    The UbiBot WS1 is an advanced all-in-one IoT sensor built with industrial grade components. The WS1 measures temperature, humidity, ambient light, vibration.
    The WS1 allows you to wirelessly monitor your environment in real-time and gives you remote access to your data wherever you are in the world. All the data is automatically synchronised to our big data platform via WiFi.

    Our cloud-based IoT platform offers advanced data analysis and management. Configure all of your devices in one Ubibot account by using the Ubibot App. It also allows you to setup real-time notifications - if a metric goes outside the range you specify, the platform will notify you through the app, by email or other methods, allowing you to respond promptly before costly damage happens. The IoT platform gives users access to both the real-time data and history via our mobile app or on any browser. We are now working with IFTTT (if this then that), allowing you to build custom link with other smart devices.

    Switch the temp unit °F/°C and user calibration is available. The device can store over 300,000 records in its internal memory, which can protect your data against network failure. Even if the network fails, the UbiBot WS1 still stores readings, thus ensuring there are no gaps in the data history.

    The data sync interval can be set by you. This allows you to balance battery life against frequency of data capture. With the default data sync interval of 15 minutes the device has a battery life of up to 4- 6 months using 2 AA alkaline batteries. Power-supply using Micro-USB is supported. You can check the battery voltage of the device remotely and set up rules to be notified when low-battery, network failure or sensor reading exceeds the setting range. Available rule alerts include Email, APP, SMS, Phone Call, HTTP API. Please note, charges may apply to SMS text and voice call alert modes. These two modes cost the balance of the credits in your account.

    No subscription is needed. Free 200MB Cloud Storage enough to store data over 2 years on default settings. Export the data to CSV or PDF without extra charge.

    External Probe Selection:
    - UbiBot WS1 supports 1 external temperature probe. Temperature range and option can be found here.
    -We recommend to buy On-board Port Splitter (One Male to Two Female), if you want to use external USB power-supply and external temperature probe at the same time.

    1. Does the device collect data when the network is unavailable?

    Yes. The device continues to monitor the environment even when no network is available. It stores the data in its on-device memory and will sync it when you move it to WiFi environment. Alternatively, you can manually export the data via our PC Offline Tool or WiFi AP.

    2. How to reset the device when my WiFi router password is changed?

    Repeat the device setup steps and follow the on-screen instructions. Note: you need to type in the new WiFi password. All your data are kept unchanged when you changed the WiFi password or even you move the device to a new location.

    3. What kind of probe can be connected with the device?

    The WS1 device supports 1 DS18B20 temperature probe. When you need both USB power supply and external probe connection at the same time, you can use the Micro USB Splitter Cable Adapter (One Male to Two Female).

    4. Is there any subscription fee for using the platform?

    There is no need of subscription to use the UbiBot Platform.

    Each device comes with the free plan on UbiBot platform that offers 200 MB storage and 1 GB outbound traffic. The 200 MB storage is for lifetime and 1 GB of outbound traffic is rotated monthly for each device. But any balance of the outbound traffic will not roll over to the next month. For example, if you have 500 MB outbound traffic unused this month, you still have 1 GB next month. The free 200MB storage is enough to store over 2 years amount of data in case of your device takes temperature, humidity and light sensor readings every 10 minutes.

    5. Can the device powered by USB power supply?

    Yes. The device supports both AA batteries and Micro USB power(5V2A). The device can preferentially use USB power if both USB and batteries are available. In this case, you can insert 4 AA batteries as a backup for the power supply in case of socket power goes off.
    Rechargeable batteries are also supported, but please note the device won’t charge them when USB supply is plugged in.

    6. Why couldn't I receive the verification email for registration?

    The email is probably blocked by your email server. Please check your spam or junk mail first. If there isn't, please send us your registration email address via support@ubibot.io so as to check the status from our server end.
