WiFi and Mobile model with GPS
WiFi and Mobile Network model plus GPS positioning function: This device is an advanced version of the GS1-AL4G1RS. Except for using mobile network and 2.4GHz WiFi for data sync, it is also embedded with positioning module for real-time positioning. An external 'BD GPS Active Antenna' is connected to receive satellite signal. This model is embedded with internal temperature and humidity sensors. Integrated with RS485 interface, external probes can also be connected, such as TH30S-B, soil temperature and humidity probe,etc. Because of the cable port, this version is not waterproof.
The UbiBot® GS1 uses cutting-edge IoT technologies to offer a more stable environmental monitoring with high performance. Via WiFi or Mobile network (SIM), it detects environmental data all day round and automatically syncs all the data to the UbiBot® IoT Platform. The clear 4’’ screen allows you to instantly view the latest data. You can also access your device readings in real-time via our App or using a browser anywhere in the world. The embedded BD GPS Active Antenna allows the device applied for different kinds of occasions like logistic vehicles and transport vehicles etc.
Data Reporting and Logging
Our cloud-based IoT platform offers advanced data analysis and management. It also allows you to setup real-time notifications - if a metric goes outside the range you specify, the platform will notify you through the app, by email, SMS text, voice call and HTTP, allowing you to respond promptly before costly damage happens. Please note, charges may apply to SMS text and voice call alert modes. These two modes cost the balance of the credits in your account. The IoT platform gives users access to both the real-time data and history via our mobile app or on any browser. We are now working with IFTTT (if this then that), allowing you to build custom link with other smart devices.
No subscription is needed. The free 200MB Cloud Storage is enough to store data over 2 years on default settings. Export the data to CSV or PDF without extra charge.
The device can store up to 300,000 records in its internal memory, which can protect your data against network failure. Even if the network fails, the UbiBot GS1® still stores readings, thus ensuring there are no gaps in the data history.
The device supports three types of power supply: internal lithium batteries, Type-C 5V (USB cable provided), and DC 12V (not included). The 2900mAh batteries ensure a long working time.

1. Does the device collect data when the network is unavailable?
Yes. The device continues to monitor the environment even when no network is available. It stores the data in its on-device memory and will sync it when a WiFi or Mobile network connection is restored. Alternatively, you can manually export the data via our PC Offline Tool or WiFi AP.
2. How to reset the device when my WiFi router password is changed?
Repeat the device setup steps and follow the on-screen instructions. Note: you need to type in the new WiFi password. All your data are kept unchanged when you changed the WiFi password or even you move the device to a new location.
3. What kind of probe can be connected with the device?
The GS1-PL4G1RS has an embedded RS485 interface that allows CO2, wind, soil temperature & humidity probe as well as environment temperature & humidity probe to be connected. An On-board Port Splitter is available to connect multiple external probes.
4. Is there any subscription fee for using the platform?
There is no need of subscription to use the UbiBot® Platform.
Each device comes with the free plan on UbiBot® platform that offers 200 MB storage and 1 GB outbound traffic. The 200 MB storage is for lifetime and 1 GB of outbound traffic is rotated monthly for each device. But any balance of the outbound traffic will not roll over to the next month. For example, if you have 500 MB outbound traffic unused this month, you still have 1 GB next month. The free 200MB storage is enough to store over 2 years amount of data in case of your device takes temperature, humidity and light sensor readings every 10 minutes.

5. Why couldn't I receive the verification email for registration?
The email is probably blocked by your email server. Please check your spam or junk mail first. If there isn't, please send us your registration email address via firstname.lastname@example.org so as to check the status from our server end.
